Temple & Beach Visit to Kamakura

Both our Summer Program interns and the University Group interns traveled to the ancient, sea-side city of Kamakura. Being the country capital of Japan once upon a time, the area and its many temples & shrines are a tourist attraction for foreigners and nationals alike- especially travelers like us.

It was a beautiful sunny day to visit, and some of the group took the opportunity to swim at the beach on the way home. The water did not disappoint as it was warm upon entering, and the lovely sunset painted the waves into rest. Once night came, we enjoyed some Hawaiian-styled food at Kua Aina before a night of well-earned rest.
