Financial Consulting Company Internship Experience
Interning in a foreign country is fun. I like experiencing different kinds of cultures. My specific choice for Japan was triggered by my interest in the country since I was young and I learned some Japanese at university. However it’s always good to practice the language locally.
My responsibilities for the internship involved: providing daily administrative support, making cold calls, researching possible clients and receiving training about industry and company.
I kept a close relationship with my supervisor compared with other colleagues, because my supervisor guided me about what to do. However, if other co-workers needed any support, I assisted them as well. The office was small sized and I didn’t encounter any strict hierarchy. People work independently and treat each other in an equal and fair way.
